Title: This is my boomstick.
Post by: freakazoid on February 07, 2013, 10:56:43 AM
Yesterday I picked up a new shotgun. Originally was planning on getting a Stoeger Coachgun but they were out. Went to another place and saw a SxS, it's Baikal MP220. Never heard of it so I did a short research online and it sounds like they are not bad. It was only $299 so I decided to pick it up. Also saw an Enfield No4Mk1* and stamped U.S. Property and since I've been wanting one I picked it up too. =D After getting them home I attempt to put the shotgun together and when trying to put the barrel I snapped it close and pinched my arm.  :'(

So after all that it is raining today so I still haven't been able to shoot it yet. :'(

Does me getting a laugh out of your injury make me a bad person?

I have been bitten by guns before. I was told I had to then keep the culprit guns under observation and confinement for 10 days and if they showed any suspicious signs or behavior I should go get a tetanus shot.

#CuttingForBieber (also known as #Cut4Bieber) is an online hoax and Twitter hashtag campaign launched by members of 4chan in trying to spread a rumor that fans of Justin Bieber are cutting themselves in response to the leaked photographs of the singer allegedly smoking marijuana. The hoax involved creating numerous fake Twitter accounts and spreading pictures of supposedly self-inflicted scars with the hashtag, similar to misinformation techniques used in the #BaldForBieber campaign.

I had a guy from the French Army try to bite me in Djibouti. The country, not the body part. ;)  A guy from the French Foreign Legion lifted him off of me by the ears before he had a chance to clamp down. God, that was a fun night!!!!

Which, given their proclivities, is what happens when you surrender to the French!

Oui! Oui! Zat hurts!

Wait a minute.

Has anyone ever actually surrendered to the French in the last 100 or so years?

Ya, vichy surrendering to free French. After shooting at their own peeps of course. We're still barely under 100 years of WWI armistice too.

The Germans surrrendered to the French at the end of WW1.  The surrender treaty was signed in a railroad car.  A few decades later the Nazis overwhelmed the French and Hitler was present at the surrender; he made the French use the same railroad car to sign the papers in that the Germans had been in at the end of WW1.
I guess Der Fuhrer appreciated irony......................
