Indeed.  I seek personal safety and financial security.  I derive happiness from many things but the feeling is fleeting.  Contentment can be with you from the moment you wake up to the moment you fall asleep, if you'll let it.  When life conspires to interfere, then strength of character can mitigate that negativity.

I'm working on that last part real hard.
