Title: Duck Dynasty Vegan Commercial
Post by: Ben on February 27, 2013, 12:20:32 PM
I thought this was a crack up. Apparently both Morrisey and the Duck Dynasty guys were to be on Jimmy Kimmel on the same night. Morrisey gave Kimmel an ultimatum that it was either him or "the serial animal killers". Kimmel chose Duck Dynasty and had some fun with it:

I've heard about Duck Dynasty, but am I supposed to know who or what a Morrisey is?  ???

(OK, from the linked article I gather he's a foreign musician of some sort. But does he have a day job? He looks a little bit old to be playing in his mommy's basement.)

If it the same Morrisey i am thinking of, he was the lead singer for the Smiths who had some good songs (back in the 80's or something).  I have a best of CD and that is about as far as I would take it.

Smiths = 1 hit wonder 20 some years ago.

Morrissey has always been a doosh- he's Bono without the fame, or talent.

I remember when I watched The Happening at the local theater, and all those folks were committing messy suicides left and right.

My wife jabbed me in the ribs because I said, "Oh my gawd, they were all listening to Morrissey, weren't they?"  :O

After all the blared heavy metal blared over loudspeakers to disorient/demoralize enemies, it was my thought that Smiths/Morrissey/The Cure would have been much more effective.
