Title: sdhc card freezes my computer

i'm running windows vista with service pack 2 installed.  a regular sd card works fine, but an sdhc freezes everything while the computer "thinks". as soon as i remove the card it works fine again.  i tried updating the driver, but according to the automatic search my driver is current.  any thoughts?

Your built in card reader will not read the SDHC standard, you will need to pick up a under $20 USB SDHC compatible card reader.
