Man killed in London street by two self-confessed jihadists, act caught on video, perpetrators not beaten to death with cricket bats, canes, and umbrellas, but instead shot by responding police.

Wow. An active duty soldier (presumably) hacked to death just a few blocks from a Royal Artillery barracks. How unfortunate that there was no quick reaction force to sally forth in a Warrior to run the tracks over the terrorists a few times.

Or you could, like, ya know, have your soldiers carry weapons around with them. That seems like the sort of thing a soldier might be able to do.

This was a tragedy, albeit I am not sure the title is all that deserved - after all, Nidal Hasan did much the same sort of thing against much the same sort of people.

Your criticism is deserved. I wrote in anger and frustration. I will say I believe the social decay at the root of this is farther advanced in the UK, but we Americans are on the same trajectory.

And yes, the comparisons are apt, in that the rat bastard officers and rat bastard policritters do not trust soldiers or citizens to bear arms in their own defense.
Also, yet another reason to stop immigration butt cold and keep a gimlet eye on those of the mohammedian persuasion.

And the bad guys can and will get and use lethal weapons regardless of laws against it.
If theres a big distinction here I'd say it would be response time. Reports I'm hearing are 25 minutes from one witness, and 20 minutes after police arrived before "Armed response". They could have done an awful lot more murdering in 20 minutes.
