Time for a woman to be President.
http://washingtonexaminer.com/chelsea-clinton-endorses-mom-we-need-a-woman-in-the-white-house/article/2531935
Hey, who's more qualified to make this determination than Chelsea Clinton, right?
Sheesh!
-
Not necessarily, If she manages the Presidency the way she did the State Department, as an absentee bystander, it will be a third Obama term.
-
We need women who are at the head of a boardroom, like at the head of the White House, at the head of kind of major scientific enterprises so that little girls everywhere can then think, you know what? I can do that, I want to do that, I will do that.
This is not a reason to vote for a president! This is not POLITICS!
*grumble grumble* affermative action mentality is gonna destroy this country. *grumble grumble*

Gonna? It already has

Stupid women are the reason my wife complains about the 19th amendment.
-
I just don't see the Democrats abandoning the advantage of a black President. I guess a female candidate/president might give them a similar advantage in terms of identity politics, but it's not exactly a sure thing.

HEAR HEAR! I move we draft Katee Sackoff for the high office!

Zombie Thatcher.
Hey, we already elected a brain dead Kenyan. Why NOT an undead Limey? We could feed captured enemy irregulars to her and eliminate the need for Gitmo.
-
I'll take Palin.
Why?
She utterly terrifies the hard Left. The media hates her. The unions hate her. Hollywood hates her.
And I rather suspect our external enemies hate her as well.
Hey, what's not to like?

Sarah Palin is a lot more "masculine" than BHO :P

So is Clinton. It really doesn't take much by that measure...

I like that idea.
Mrs thatcher, what do we do about the crisis in the Middle East? ------- Silence.
Mrs Thatcher, how much money should we spend to bail out "_________? -------- Silence.
Mrs Thatcher, are you going to sign that new spending bill? --------------- Silence.
That might work out until someone tries to be the power behind the throne.

Anyone who can piss off 100,000 liberals in two minutes has my vote.

Palin/Bachman 2016?

I think not. Palin may be all that and a bag of chips but she is a *shudder* social conservetive. We could recreate the dramas of P and VP from back when they didn't run together.

What's so horrible about being a "social conservative?"
I've had it up to my hairline with the progressive- socialist-third way jackwagons that are destroying this country....
-
I think we need someone of Condy Rice's status to put forward.

Look who you are talking to.

Don't expect a rational answer to that question.
-
Well, for one thing, I'm a "social conservative" . . . for selected values of "social" and likewise selected values of "conservative."
Just for giggles, I should write up a detailed definition.
I'm rather guessing that a lot of those people who self-identify as social conservatives don't use the same definitions that I do for either word, never mind the two words together.
-
Don't expect a rational answer to that question.
fistful, when you are wrong you are wrong, but when you are right you are right on the money!!
Yea, we've tried the moderate repubs twice and got nowhere, let go back to SOCIAL CONSERVATISM.
-

SO tempted to make a smartass comment on that...

What do "moderate republican" and "social conservative" have to do with each other? That giant sack of lard Christie isn't close to a socon, neither is Guiliani etc. Ron Paul was against abortion, I guess he was a moderate repub?

Palin/MrsSmith?
I'll vote for a MrsSmith/BlueStarLizzard ticket if I can be SecDef. =D

False assumption is false.
Palin is a trumpet-blowing Hannitized GOP hawk political action star shill, not a social conservative. The woman is a walking sound bite with no depth to her positions. 'Muricah, Fock Yeah! describes her to a tee.
I'd vote for a good old fashioned socon from the deep south if he wasn't going to push more wars against people with dirty colored skin or shove the legal codex full of abridgements of free contractual association.
