Director James Clapper appeared before the committee in March, where Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., asked him specifically if NSA spies on millions of Americans. Clapper answered, "No."...
...Clapper says the intricacy of Wyden's question – asking for a clarification of "hundreds of millions of dossiers on people" – combined with a need to preserve classified information prompted him to give the wrong answer.
So he'll get shuffled off with a big fat pension, and maybe write a book. Meanwhile, Roger Clemens was forced to endure two trials, thousands in legal expenses, and 5 years of legal battles for lying in front of congress.... allegedly for using PEDs as a baseball player.
Methinks this is a tad more serious.

Laws are for little people. If we have learned anything from this administration, we have learned that.
-
Or Mr. Clapper may suffer a tragic car crash, or a sudden heart attack, just after drafting his retirment letter...
-
If he cannot understand that question, then I really have doubts that he should be in the position that he is in.

How can you say that, when Eric Holder is on trial and facing serioius jail time as a result of his contempt citation?
Oh, wait . . .

He should take up canoeing, like Colby.

This Administration is all for selective enforcement of the law.
Me thinks this is a tad more serious.
Me thinks that it SHOULD be more serious. But wait and see, nothing will happen. We're seeing the most transparent administration in history.

General Clapper was one of my commanders way back when.
He's by no means a dolt.
That doesn't prevent him from being a fall guy, though.
-
Clap on...Clap off...the Clapper. [popcorn]

Fall guys are bought and sold on a regular basis. Nothing more simple than a glock and a bag.
