I have an acquaintance there today. His FB feed shows multiple pictures of the barrycades being torn down and stacked. He said they stacked some of them in front of the WH.
Some days I have hope.
-
Some of the FB feeds I've seen state that it is a lot of rent-a-cops involved in trying to keep the peace.

Wing of the WH maybe? I get confused.
Cops inside and outside the wire totaled maybe 50. My guy said they showed up, assessed, then left.

I'm fearing a "Bonus Army" moment with this.
-
Perhaps. However, this Bonus army is a lot better armed then the previous one.

I doubt it.
Not many of them likely to pack heat into DC.
-
No, not in DC, but if they decide to start chasing them home or hunting them down.

As opposed to crushing them under hoof wheel or smacking them with the flat of a cavalry sabre tazing, clubbing and otherwise "complying" them to death...
-
Too many cameras. They'll get their say and go home in peace.

Are you so sure? I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't a few in "overwatch" positions......

FoxNews.com also reported that a man was arrested at the event in connection with bringing at least one gun in a bag.
A witness named Jacob Reed told Fox News the man was standing in line to talk to Washington Republican Rep. David G. Reichert.
Reed said a police officer asked the man what he was doing, then asked him to take his bag off his back. The man complied and said the bag contained a bunch of firearms, at which point he was handcuffed and taken into custody.

Didn't say smart....just said possible...

I'm enjoying the photos of barricades piled up by the WH fence. The police response could have been worse. Overall a good demonstration.

No. No. NO.
Surely you mean Barrycades :D

While fun to watch. It's meaningless. Won't change a thing.
-
Think of it as checking the national temperature. It's rising.
Three years of arrogance, overstep and media marginaliztion to go.

Plant/false flag?
Or, could just be a moron, being a veteran does not confer genious status on anyone.
Other than that the rally does warm the cold dead cockles of my heart just a tiny bit.

What a maroon.
Easy enough to carry 2-3 guns on person, well concealed, in a way that never gives even tenuous PC like a backpack does nowadays.

Good thing the backpack only had guns - just imagine if he'd brought his lunch in a pressure cooker. :O

The guy should have been schooled to state "I do not consent to any searches." :police:

DC is a bad place for "that guy" to go and visit.
It was created essentially as a fort and naval yard, where congress and potus could also reside. It's a federal reservation beholden to no State. Claiming to have no federal affiliation there would just invite treating you like a spy, trrrrist or illegal alien (who isn't currently employed to clean some congress critter's home).
