Title: Websites/blogs you read...
Post by: cosine on September 01, 2006, 04:08:42 PM
Okay, I need to find something new to do on the internet (partly inspired by Barbara's thread)... my current fair consists of a couple of firearms forums, a couple of knife forums, a couple of golf forums, and a couple of musician's forums. As you see, I'm hopelessly addicted to online forums, but I'd like something new to read or do on the web. But, I'm not looking for the standard waste-your-time video and games sites that are not any better than the boob tube.
So, with all that said, what websites/blogs do you frequent often and find informative and/or interesting? I don't care about the subject matter, post the link here!

Where you can find pages that will bring tears to your eyes like http://www.thesneeze.com/mt-archives/cat_steve_dont_eat_it.php Sometimes the blog isn't all that good but the comments will make me laugh.... --- www.engadget.com - Another must read. www.woot.com - Everyday I check this website never fails! (usually at Midnight if I am awake) The descriptions are great, prices usually are good too. www.aximsite.com - Because I own an axim. www.scubaboard.com - Because I scuba dive. www.300mclub.org - Because I own a 300m www.myspace.com - Good way to keep up with old friends... Freecycle - Its a Yahoo group that I check everyday. I must thank my wife for getting me addicted to this one.
I have no clue right now besides my normal one related to school...

Thanks everyone. I've now got more places to waste my time on the web!
(BTW, I spent a couple of hours reading lawdog's blog. Good read. I wish I had known about it sooner.)
