To properly respond to this story. http://www.munchkinwrangler.com/2013/09/16/yes-but-how-is-his-therapy-going/

La La Land called. They want their idiots back.

What kind of brain-dead, out-of-her-mind, witless wonder of a female would agree to do something like that?
I guess she really believes in people, and the power of her own good intentions. Or used to.

Dumb de dumb dumb. -> Answer to how the "Dragnet" theme was conceived.

But... if you treat them like a criminal, they've got nothing to lose, and they never get better.

They released a lady on bond for 2 weeks here. Medical reasons ie abortion. She was facing drug and gun charges in 3 other areas as well. A month later
Has anyone seen her?

Maybe next time they bring the horse to the prison?
:P

How do they treat alcoholics there? Letting them drive to their therapy sessions in a car where “Rehab” plays on repeat, then allowing them to stop at the liquor store (“…but remember, only buy a bottle opener!”), and having them escorted by a giant anthropomorphic martini glass?

I'd argue that there's a whole range of treating them. If you treat them like how we treat criminals, they're generally not going to get better. Treat them about like a college dormie or deployed military member but with more security, address the issues causing the criminality, and recedivism drops substantially, even if your sentences are roughly 1/3rd of ours.
I like lower sentences that have lower recedivism. It's cheaper, translating into smaller government.

Ganz unglaublich.

Corporal punishment for the win.

Another glaring example of the reality and factuality of the descriptive noun called Libtard.

Recidivism is good, prisons is big business. Crime also justifies a big police force; everybody wins, except for the citizens (both law-abiding and not)
