I made the comment in the Steve Irwin thread to the effect that the Aussies can be pretty driven to their goal at times. So I'm reading a guy now named Frank Clune who was kind of a travelogue type of author where he takes a trip and writes a book to tell you all about it. He's an Aussie. I just came across a line that says it all:
"More people die in bed than anywhere else, and therefore going to bed is statisically the most dangerous thing that anybody can do."

I suppose a big part of the downside depends on whose bed I'm in when I die.
