Not too surprising, unfortunately, fed.gov bureaucrats being fed.gov bureaucrats.  With a sneaky backdoor law behind them.

Guess the Founding Fathers thought that everyone would understand that when even treason cannot work corruption of blood, that means no lesser crime or debt can either.  Guess, once again, they put too much faith in the integrity of subsequent generations.

I heard there was a farm bill passed back in 2008 that had provisions to allow the IRS to do this. So thus if so it was "legal"
