Title: NRA Convention
Post by: Scout26 on April 25, 2014, 09:21:43 PM
Cordex can confirm this actually happened today.

If while wandering through the NRA Convention and you happen to go around a random corner, look up and see Heckler & Koch, turn the Brain Filter ON.

Because stating in a normal speaking voice, "Oh look, H&K. Because you suck and we hate you." Will earn you the very nasty glare of one of their booth boys.

I blame Larry Correia.

Had a great time there and hanging with Cordex.  Thanks for Lunch !!  Next time I buy.

Lol.  I give my friend who owns a usp 45 constant *expletive deleted*it. He complains that he can't hit the mag release without changing his grip? Its because he lacks manly teutonic hands. He stipples the  grips to make it grippier? Nein! That is not the H und K way!
I get endless material from Correia's rant, its even better because my friend has read it and thinks its funny too.

Which is extra funny because I have shortish fingers, and I love paddle/lever magazine releases and own a USP .40, and a USP 9 for that reason. And have divested myself of all my Glocks save for the 26 because reaching the controls and magazine release is difficult.

The ginormous USP trigger guard makes it almost an impossibility to reach a tactical light's controls, but it doesn't really matter because most guns reach distance is too far without a major grip-shift for me anyway.

The one notable exception is my Ruger SR22 which has a Streamlight TLR4 on it.

I should probably get a Walther PPS for it's lever-release too.

"Normal speaking voice"?  Scout belted it out like a voice coach teaching projection at a community theatre as we were walking through the HK booth.  One of the suits cranked his head around and glared at us like we had smeared feces on the MP5 display.

I had a good time too. Glad we met up.
