why aren't there sub-forums here? this forum would be much easier to use....

Why do we need subforums to classify the dozen or so topics we have each week?  There's more diversity within specialized subforums elsewhere than we have overall here.

I like just having one big forum. When you have several sub-forums, people tend to gravitate to a certain one or two, and then we all miss out on each other. Also, considering this is a "talk about anything" forum, how would you go about dividing them anyway?

Cities.

Mammaries.

Cell phones.
My latest surgery.
My latest accident.
Children.
Parents.

Nope, bad idea.

We couldn't have a mammaries sub-forum . . . too many older folks around here, who've lost their mammary.
