I'm looking forward to when the media realize that Hillary needs to distance herself from the steaming pile of fail that is Obama and throw him under the bus.
-
I'd actually prefer to see Hillary thrown under the bus by Obama (deservedly for Benghazi), because otherwise she will almost certainly be our next president.

I don't see it. She's a galvanizing figure on both sides. She's old and ugly. Shouldn't matter, but it does. Short ugly bald guys don't get to be President, and neither do hideous old bags. Sure, there's the "War on Women" "ZOMG first female POTUS" crap, but even among liberals a lot of folks aren't going to vote for her.
Maybe wishful thinking, but I just don't see it. Of course I couldn't see Obama winning in 2012 so what do I know.

I sincerely hope you're right, but I ain't bettin' the farm on it. :)

There was a fair amount of talk the last time around about how Obama couldn't possibly be re-elected, having been such a piss poor President during his first term. We all saw how that turned out.
I think we're going to be stuck with HRH for eight years, or however long the Republic has left, whichever is shorter.
-
So what you're saying is I should buy some ammo before there's a run on it? =)
-
I see her getting sympathy/consolation votes from liberals quietly regretful for having elected Obama.

It's possible. But Barry appeals to low information voters. I don't know that Hillary would.

That is an interesting possibility. Hadn't thought of that.

Generally speaking, don't leftist policritters appeal to low information voters?

Not a bad thing to do at any time.

All democracies eventually turn into socialist dictatorships, it's inevitable. And just to shut up the inevitable "We aren't a democracy" people, all constitutional republics eventually turn into democracies.
The only question is how fast it gets bad, and how bad it gets before it resets.

BHO won #1 and #2 because a chunk of the electorate is so hung up on a candidate's skin color they'd cheerfully vote for Idi Amin if he were running against Mother Teresa . . . I'm not certain you'd see the same sort of thing for a harridan like Hillary.

Lot of Democrats have ex-wives/nagging mothers that remind them of Hillary... =D

There's a lot of truth here.
And the real wild-card is (someone go ahead and accuse me of misogyny, don't care...) how women themselves are catty and at odds with each other, and finding reasons to dislike other women.
I don't think she'll pull a "First woman POTUS, because... REASONS!" plurality from women, the way Obama was able to over being black.
That doesn't mean she won't win, as mentioned, I was one of those in 2012 who thought "He's so awful, no way he'll win again, one termer like Carter, for sure..." and I've learned my lesson. I just don't think it'll be as easy for her as it was for Obama if she does win.

I think one of Hillary's big weak points is her tendency to raise her voice while speaking, until she sounds very obnoxiously strident.

Jindal will never be Potus because his voice makes him sound like a whiny teenage girl.
There is no limit to the shallowness of voters.
