Winters was in reality the whitest man to ever play the blues due to his albinism. I enjoyed his work and actively listened to him a few years back.

I briefly dated a stripper who had been a groupie for Johnny Winter. That must have been an odd sight.
I remember him being into heroin in the late 60's or early 70's. It was pretty scandalous at that time.
Great musician.
