I think the victim would have regained consciousness regardless of what his buddy was doing, but it was really sweet to see him try.
Unless maybe the water was the trick? Could cold water have helped? I took monkey leisure studies instead of anatomy.

Maybe his buddy was making sure he was dead before he started eating him. =|

In other news 20 persons holding smart phones were struck by a train. Officials were unsure why they were on the tracks.

I wonder if that's an innate response for when newborn monkeys aren't breathing/fluid in lungs. I'll bet a zookeeper would know. Maybe baby monkeys routinely fall into the water and have to be hauled out by momma
and pounded on the back, and that monkey thought that immersion was a necessary step in the revival ritual.
Maybe that monkey just started a new monkey religion of baptizing deceased monkeys to bring them back to life =D
