We found out last month that we're going to have a boy. My wife is about 5 months along now, and now we're narrowing down names. I've got the baby room almost complete from, sheetrock to new doors to paint to crib and glider. I'm looking forward to it. At first, I was a little nervous, but now I'm anxious. I'm ready for him to be here. I'm really looking forward to my new little hunting buddy!

Congrats, I imagine Winchester, Remington and Colt are in the running for the names?
"Time for little Winchester's bath now."

Thanks all!!!
You know, I pitched a bunch of names to the wife when we first found out it was a boy. Gunner, Hunter, ect... She shot a bunch of them down real quick like. Thanks for all the input guys, but I think we're down to "Caleb" now. I'm excited!!!

I recently found out that my wife and I are going to have a boy in March ( so we are not that far behind you). We struggled for names ourselves and finally came up with using my fathers name as our first childs name. Let me tell you that when I told my father our plans in honoring him in this manner solidified it in my mind. It was such a good feeling to tell my father that our son is going to be named after him. Hearing the joy and pride in his voice and hearing him get choked up over it made it such a wonderful thing...
So a thought is to use a family name to honor someone& I never realized how important that could be&
