Crook #1 takes a unique, "But I was just asking them if they had any spare change" panhandler approach.
Crook #2 seems like it should have been a Dewey Crowe scene in "Justified".

From the would-be bank robber:
"For real, I felt like I got robbed 'cause they gave me the money," he said. "Then the police robbed my brain."
Talk about petty larceny. . . .

I like how this guy spilled his guts to the police. After all, he's practically one of them, right? They'll be sympathetic.

It was unclear whether he had a lawyer to contact for further comment.
Crook #1 doesn't need a lawyer, he needs a psychiatrist. [Or a good agent -- he could have a career in stand-up comedy.]

Don't worry about rook #1. I'm betting both that English is not even his 3rd language and that he's a non-citizen that will somehow be covered by executive amnesty.
#2 will be safer where he's going - less chance he will step out in front of a truck.
stay safe.

Crook 1 will not get off. And as he's in jail, his roomy will give him this note: "I need to pound you in the ass right NOW!! Please. Guards take 3 to 4 minutes to get here. I would appreciate if you scream "rape!" a minute after I am
gone done."

Here's another one.

I saw an interview (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYqzRkq55cc) with the girl, and she said the crook was fumbling with his phone, when he set the gun down. So he's in the middle of an armed robbery, and has his phone out. I guess that kind of stupid would explain why he can't find legal employment.
