Somebody must know someone in mall security.

Just got a call from a friend who was forced into escorting his wife about the mall.  His best guess is that some sweet young thing skipped school to meet her new BFF - the one she probably met on the internet.  And that her father saw her there.

Why does he think that happened?

He paraphrased the PA announcement:  Will <full name (obviously female)> please meet your father at mall security.  He wants to talk to you about perverts.

What are the odds that there was not some other kid at the mall this morning who knows her/knows who she is?

If anywhere near true I want to buy dad and the guy who runs the PA system a beer.  And then slap dad up side the head for not keeping better track of what his daughter is doing.

I would have made a beeline towards mall security to watch the festivities unfold. >:D

When she was 15, my cousin's wife got pinched for underage drinking.

The police called her father (I used to hunt with him) to the station.

When he found out why she was there, he turned her over his knee right in front of several officers AND her friends and spanked her ass.

And THAT is why my kids don't have their own smartphone, or unsupervised internet access.  And won't.
