Obama and Putin will be having a sit down Monday in NY. What will the outcome of those talks be?

Pretty much this. It wouldn't surprise me if Obama thinks we cheated Russia out of Alaska and would like to find a way to give it back with reparations. Out of 'fairness', dontcha know.

Obama would have to ban fracking for that to occur. But I have often thought he might do exactly that before he leaves office.

He already promised to be more "flexible" when he was running for re-election. So we'll be able to see how far Obama can bend (I'm guessing pretty damn far). And it won't be Putin's shoes that Obama will be polishing....
When it comes to Geo-politics, Putin is playing chess while Obama is playing checkers....

Although beyond a port to the Mediterranean and even more oil I'm not sure what Putin/Russia wants with the Near/Middle East/Southwest Asia. No matter what they get it's still going to be crawling with tribal goat herders
But who knows. Someone in the intelligence community may in fact be engineering another Ronald Reagan plan to let Russia and China spend themselves out of existence. (If they do I suggest we give what's left to the French - they'll declare a new Republic and drive it even deeper into the ground.)

Russia already has a port at Tartus, Syria. Obama's EPA will ban Fracking, just like they are banning coal.
