In late 2011, the Obama administration made the promotion of gay rights an integral part of American foreign policy. Since then, it has pushed for the decriminalization of homosexuality overseas, working with the United Nations and private groups.
Fierce opposition has come from African governments and private organizations, which accuse the United States of cultural imperialism. Pressing gay rights on an unwilling continent, they say, is the latest attempt by Western nations to impose their values on Africa.
“In the same way that we don’t try to impose our culture on anyone, we also expect that people should respect our culture in return,” said Theresa Okafor, a Nigerian active in lobbying against gay rights.

Fools keep forgetting that keeping homosexuality closeted and taboo and even dangerous socially keeps it exciting and spicy.
In the West's post modern mendacity, they have to tear everything down to the lowest common denominator. One day the gays will wake up, look around at their mortgage, the Ikea furniture, their snoring husband, and the sound of their 1.2 adopted children starting to stir, and wonder: "Where did it all go wrong?"

YGTBSM. $700 million in taxpayer dollars and/or debt to promote homosexual behavior? Does that include a few million for bestiality and kiddie-touchers?

The person showed up, along with three plainclothes officers. Mr. Azeez said he spent three days in jail and was released only after his father, fearing publicity, paid off the police with about $900.

This is partly why the US State Dept and other parts of US Gov't are getting their hate on for Russia, since Russia passed laws promoting reasonable protection for youths from being molested by homosexuals. They seem to want to wage Wold War G(P) with Russia on behalf of Russian bents and shorteyes. No wonder so many in Russia hold BHO in contempt.
