But they're not social justice warriors. They're reasonable.

1. Why are groups always dumber than the individual?
2. Why are diverse groups dumber still?
3. Why do universities and corporations demand that we think that diverse groups (teams) are better than individuals at creating ideas and solutions? *

Does anyone actually believe that the things discovered or created by fleming, farnsworth, tesla, lavoisier, Newton, Einstein, Mozart, Rembrandt, or DaVinci would have happened if they were forced to work in government approved, minority owned, diverse teams?

Why are these students still allowed to remain on campus and attend classes?

Why are these students still allowed to remain on campus and attend classes?

Because the Federal Student Loans are still coming into WWU for them.

Well, it certainly can't be because someone has considered what the ramifications would be if they were allowed to leave the campus.

It's about high time we brought back the notion of te "professional student" - but this time it needs to be mandatory that everybody change their major as soon as the get to the ABD point.

I have not run the numbers yet but my instinct tells me it would be less expensive overall to keep them in student loans for the rest of their life than o turn them out into the world.

stay safe.

Subsidizing it will only make the problem worse.

Hey, they are just preparing for a  career in liberal politics.  There always seems to be someone willing to give idiots like this money.

1. Why are groups always dumber than the individual?
2. Why are diverse groups dumber still?

Answer to both:

Because additional members of a group provide more paths for the stupidity to flow.  Thus, the total intelligence of the group cannot be greater than the intelligence of the stupidest member.

It's just like the electrical law of resistors in parallel.  In fact, the same equations apply.  Adding another resistor in parallel results in a decrease in total resistance because each added resistor provides another path for the electric current to flow.

Engineers are familiar with this equation, where R is any value of resistance:

1/R(Total) = 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3 + 1/R4.....

Substitute "Intelligence" for Resistance, and there you have it.

Normal people don't want to be a part of that nonsense or anywhere near it.

That is my thoughts as well. Surely this lot broke at least some of the Student Code of Conduct... I know there is more to that than cheating, it was a rather large booklet for my little community collage (that I never read, but still), so for a four year school, there has to be something.

This.

If there isn't an assholery clause,  they ought to be.

If you go to a sheepdog trial the participating shepherds will tell you that it is near impossible for a single dog to get one or two sheep to do what is requested of the dog. 3 is a pretty magic number, the sheep at that point are pretty sheepish.

This is the very school where Sumpnz is going for his MBA.  Perhaps he can help them write the business case for the College of Power and Liberation.

That's why the most successful sheep ranchers use a hypnotoad.

Is the hypnotoad related to the Mexican Staring Frog of Southern Sri Lanka?

Sorry.  First time I've read the OP article, and watched the video.  A few observations...

The chick classifying everything a being "violent" ...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2y8Sx4B2Sk

Go to the library.  Find footage of the Civil Rights movement.  Look at what happened to those people.  That is violence.  Better still, put on a uniform, pick up a rifle, and go see what violence is.  I'll wait.
