I am really not sure how I feel about this. If Springfield had built a one-off pistol that Taya could auction off for the foundation, I would be 1000 percent in favor. But Springfield is capitalizing on Kyle's name and, even if they'll be donating "a portion" of the profits from each sale to the foundation, they're still going to be making money off his name.
I guess if his widow is okay with it I should be ... but I'm not.

Bid jumped over 4k yesterday on one bid. aviers1 then bumps it by 25 the minimum.
No dog in the fight other than observable notoriety.
I would get one of the 1k production units aside from funds. Cannot say I would ever carry or use it at the range.
Would in fact other than verifying full function end up as a safe queen I would be loath to leave in the safe.
I would hope the those who earned the Trident are the only ones able to get these.
