Rep Corinne Brown (D) from Florida.

What is the indictment score now? D's vs R's.

Sweet
When I first started working at the Mayflower my first week there they set me up to carve roast tenderloin in a room with a Congressional Black Caucus was meeting and the biggest topic of discussion there were who was under indictment who was going to be under indictment and what to do about the indictments

Corrine is a real piece of work. She represents Florida's 5th Congressional District. It is a gerrymandered district, snaking through every majority black section of town from Jacksonville to Orlando. I doubt that it's more than a few miles across at it's widest.

She is in the top 10 for numbers of junkets she has taken. Usually with her entire family, and always booked through her daughter's travel agency, at increased cost. There is no budget for Congressional travel, and boy they take advantage of it.
Corrine is a disaster at public speaking, but damned good at funding projects that get her votes. Here in Gainesville, there is a brand new 'transit facility' named after her. Cost the Federal tax payers $40 million. No one but students and minorities ride the bus, so it's all about getting those votes.
The list of her transgressions is endless. This is not the first time she has been called on the carpet. Her district has been changed, and she will have to run in the fall, in a new area that is not specifically designed to get every black vote out there. She will lose. Hopefully, she will go to jail as well.

When I read about a politician getting indicted, I just think about the iceberg principle: only the tip is visible, most is below the surface.
So too it is with politicians getting what they deserve.
=(

Darn, couldn't have happened to a stupider person.

Yet Clinton's wife is not indicted. I guess that's what they mean by "white privilege."

Why do you refer to her as Clinton's wife?

Why do you refer to her as Clinton's wife?
As I've explained before, it's to emphasize that her marriage to Bill Clinton is the only reason she was elected or appointed to the two offices she's held. (She's held two positions in government - most qualified nominee everz!!!) It's also a reason people commonly give for voting for her.
The better question is, why is everyone on a first-name basis with the Dem. candidates this year? ???

It's interesting that *all* female candidates are referred-to by their first names. It seems a little disrespectful to call someone by their first name before they say it's okay.

Except Elizabeth Warren, she is referred by her last name.

In Mrs. Clinton's case, she brought it on herself:

Maybe not all of them, but I did notice that, this time around. Then again, "Fiorina" is just hard enough to pronounce, that that may explain it.
Also, I believe Warren is generally referred to as "Faux-cahontas.

I always think of the old joke
"What's wrong with a bus with 58 politicians running over a cliff?
2 empty seats"
