This feels, disturbingly, like 2012. The Benghazi scandal was already known, at least among conservatives. Fast & Furious was already being investigated. Obama's popularity had waned, through various other missteps. His health control law was (is) widely unpopular.

But we re-elected him anyway.

Eerie.
