It was all over the news here in upstate SC for a couple of weeks. How do I know all the sightings are fake as hell? This is SC and nobody has shot a clown in the face yet, ergo the "clowns in the woods" do not exist

Isn't there a new remake of Stephen King's "IT" coming soon? ( the way I keep up with stuff it may have come and gone already)

There are some stories here in NJ as well.
Won't happen here but shoot a few and this fad will disappear.

Brilliant catch.

There is the source of the clown sightings right there folks. There is a name for this type of advertising work that escapes me but it is a real thing. I think Larry nailed IT.

It could have started out that way, then the copycats and mentally unbalanced were inspired and ran with it.

They can wear whatever makeup and masks they like. Invade my property or personal space, especially acting in a threatening manner and they will discover that there are things MUCH scarier than clowns...
