The Avengers actors made a "vote for Hillary" video (damn you Joss Whedon!).
The GOP PR people actually did something right and made a great parody video:

That is a great parody, funny and right on point. Worth the watch.
-
Okay, I started watching the pro-Hillary video. They talk about not giving Nukes to Trump can call him racist. Can I just assume they know nothing about Hillary Clinton and all the mean and evil stuff she has done? Or are they just selectively ignorant?
-
The parody video is great. =D
-
If the video's gonna be that long, they should give it a little more content.
-
How many of you are going to protest Whedon's works now?

I think if we protested the creative works of everyone who's a clueless ahole, we wouldn't have much left to watch

I thought it has been common knowledge here for years that joss was a flaming lib who made a great libertarian series.

Pretty much

You sure complain a lot. :P =D

Me, I will never spend money on his projects ever again.
As much as it pains me I think I'm done with Doctor Who/Sherlock (Moffat) also.
*expletive deleted*ck these 5th column propagandists who are actively engaged in destroying western civilization. I'll go for a walk in the neighborhood or read a book instead.

Yep, I pulled the plug a long time ago. Don't regret it. I will very, very rarely go see a movie. The last two I went to a theater and saw were Range 15 and Atlas Shrugged (vol1). I think the one before that was Blackhawk Down.
No Hulu, Netflix or other streaming media.
If we do get a movie, it's from the library and usually something made prior to 1975.
I refuse to give Hollyweird my money, just to use it against me.

Been doing that for several years now.

I'm tired of things being over-valued, just due to partisanship; whether it be Christian music, or political videos.
-
I couldn't watch the whole parody video; I think I made it about halfway thru. Then I tried to watch the original and only got about 30 seconds before [barf]
The parody was spot on, I just didn't like it. Some things are not worthy of being mocked.

You clearly need to read the Monster Hunter Nation blog more often to learn about the publishing industry. You're better off with Hollywood.

With books, you have thousands of years from which to pick your poison. You don't have to settle for whatever is being pumped out right now, and it's even a little easier to move outside your own language (translated books being less cumbersome than subtitled or dubbed film).
Obviously, you can watch old movies, too, but that archive only goes back about a hundred years. Even then, I think your choice of viewpoints, not to mention content, is going to be much more limited.

Also if you check them out from the local library, rather than purchasing, you prevent certain authors from getting your dime directly...

Used books for the win. (And libraries have DVDs, too.)

Most hard copies I buy are used.
While I still occasionally buy books from regular publishers I also buy self published e-books and have downloaded plenty of free classics.

Guess I won't be watching that second season of FIREFLY then.....

I promise never to watch "Dollhouse" again.
