Title: Facebook Fake News Fact Checkers

Snopes was a goto for me ten years ago. Not so much anymore.

Not necessarily. My FA NFA registered AR says Colt AR15 on the receiver. I'm not sure I would ever call it an Assault Rifle; but it is functionally identical to an M16.

Those are just different types of AR-15 rifles.

Those are military designations of types of rifles. The Army could have called them AR125-B2.
