The leftist spin is that arresting criminals does not contribute to public safety.

And here I thought the sanctuary nonsense was a political move not geared toward public safety.

Well, it's geared toward the safety of unlawful residents.

I don't understand how anybody can think around that concept.  Sort of like "thinking around" gravity or something to make it go away, like gravity is only the absence of lift.  Yeah, duh.

And "unlawful" is only the absence of lawful, so what's the big deal?
