Yes, by all means we should honor stone-age people who practiced kidnapping, slavery, and human sacrifice, cutting the hearts out of living victims and having their shamans perform blood rituals including washing their hair and dipping their fingers in the blood of their victims.

Well, of course we should. Who doesn't properly honor Odin, the All-Father? Slayer of Ymir, He who gave the gift of life to the first two humans Ask and Embla. He who will lead the Einherjar into battle at Ragnarök, when the gods battle with the invaders, the Jötunn. Not just ice giants, but all the beautiful and horrible inhabitants of Jötunheimr.
Who or what else could lead the Gods against the Jötunn? Ok, sure, the rituals can get a bit messy, that is a valid point. These days you have to go full Dexter to make sure you're not catching Hep XYZ

Whenever I see a Chris Columbus thread on FB... I'll post my little bit about:
I was part of an exotic physics think tank on closed time-like curves for a while before the project was shut down. Once we had a prototype that could reliably translate a 4D geodesic, and we could reliably dig it up at the target location, just the appropriate number of strata down for the time it arrived in,
we were ready. The full-size module held a team of six, supplies, and documentation. We thought it would be interesting to see if introducing the wheel,
gunpowder, the triangular sail, and steel to North America would even the score a bit. So imagine our surprise when nothing changed.
When we finally located the module near it's landing site via an archaeological dig, as best we can gather was that the team was quickly captured and eaten...
And see if any SJW rises to the bait... >:D
