Didn't work.  I did discover that there's an IRS Form 6781, though.

Just to save you the trouble:

https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/form-6781-gains-and-losses-from-section-1256-contracts-and-straddles

"Use this form to report:
•Any gain or loss on section 1256 contracts under the mark-to-market rules, and
•Gains and losses under section 1092 from straddle positions."

Do you think he has ever gone to fill out a 4473 form to buy a gun and refused to give his SSN number on the form?   =D

Houston Investigator Frank Heenan said it was.

But I was thinking that as I read the article --that maybe it was his <ahem> close friend's, like "Mary," or "Mom," or "Jacob," or "Steve."  Until I got to the end, where the article said it was his.

He might have been shooting the lock.  Hard to tell.

That was great on many levels. Shopkeeper was cool as a cucumber, and tough guy went from tough to begging.

When has "shooting the lock" with a pistol on a door that isn't padlocked worked?
(TV and movies to NOT count! Breaching shotguns either!)
