Gins up a bunch of cases, can't convict anyone and gets beat in the primary.
He must have gotten his degree from Hollywood Upstairs Legal College.
The guy who beat him says he'll take a fresh look at the cases, but who knows?

Maybe look at the other side and see if murder charges are warranted.

McLennan County District Attorney Abel Reyna was defeated by Barry Johnson, a personal injury lawyer with no criminal law experience.
Ouch.
Not like it's a tiny backwater district with 500 people and three lawyers, either.

Normally, to win with that, your opponent has to have been caught raping nuns. (Outside California, where raping nuns is probably on the qualifications list.)
