Title: And we have a runner...
Post by: Scout26 on April 26, 2018, 02:26:36 PM
Kayne West proclaims his love for Trump and the left loses its damn mind.

And Chance the Rapper also wanders off the Democrat planation:

Now, I don't know anything about either (nor have I ever heard nor listened to their music), but prominent and popular Black artists "going rogue", might just get a few of their listeners/fans to look a little deeper.

Every once in a while Kanye actually acts like he has more going on in his head than self love.

There's something about that Kardashian/Jenner axis. For some reason, they get a little more leeway in departing from the group-think. I think Kanye's going to win this one.

For some reason, I think it would be fun to have this on a t-shirt.

...is that a REAL tweet?

If so, the lack of self-awareness in that tweet from Talcum X is amazing.

I know. I wanted to comment on it, but I can't even deal. It's got a check mark, so...   ???

What I really think it is, is that during Obama's two terms, the Left finally felt that they had established themselves as the Orthodox Mainstream. This is in part why they were so willing to overlook her substantial flaws as a candidate.

Conservatism/Libertarianism/Economic Rightism is the counter-culture now. Aside from any genuine beliefs or revelations he may hold, I suspect that it has at least something with Kanye's support.

2018 can't get weirder right? Kayne, voice of reason. Tough act to follow though, as much of an idiot as he is, he is one name famous and will remain so. Somebody currently topical like Chance the bad rapper will be so forgotten he is liable to be waiting tables.

And sadly, I must confess to liking some of what Kayne does. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6vwNcNOTVzY (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=6vwNcNOTVzY)

On April 22, Trump’s approval rating among black men stood at 11%, but a week later, in a poll on April 29, that rating had risen to 22%. In addition, his "disapproval" rating dropped significantly as well, from 87% in the first poll to 71% in the latest survey.

In one other barometer, the poll found that black men surveyed who said they have "mixed feelings" about Trump rose from 1.5% to 7.1%.
