What method of enforcement could he possibly have in mind? What chance would this have of even getting out of committee? Or get through the Senate? Does he think Trump would even sign the bill? Does he imagine that this could stand up to any judicial scrutiny?

I am going to propose a law. If you are stupid enough to propose such a blatantly unconstitutional and asinine law, any citizen has the right to punch you in the nose!

From what I read, he wasn't serious (at least for actual legislation). He was trying to be edgy and participate in the peer pressure of the pile-on. He later walked back his statements.

Now, yes, he's completely stereotyping these children who are not only did nothing wrong, they did everything right and are STILL being slandered and libeled for it. Including by this jerk.
