Now she's making up Biblical quotes.

To me this is exemplary of the way the liberals think. Their view of ... everything ... is right to them, therefore it must be good, and true, even if it's not. Quoth Ms. Pelosi:
“And I can’t find it in the Bible, but I quote it all the time and I keep reading and reading the Bible,” Pelosi said. “I know it’s there someplace. It’s supposed to be in Isaiah. But I heard a bishop say, ‘To minister to the needs of God’s creation is an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God made us.’ It’s there somewhere in some words or another, but certainly the spirit of it is there.”

It's implied in the Garden of Eden story in the first part of Genesis. Perhaps she heard said it in a sermon and misremembered the attribution. I will give her credit for being in a church and halfway paying attention.
-
I'm surprised she didn't bust into flames the second she got near a church, much less actually going in one.
-
You have to quote it so that you can find out what is in it
-
This is just typical libtard Nancy trying to chameleon in front of the council of Christian colleges and universities.
-
"And I can’t find it in the Bible, but I quote it all the time and I keep reading and reading the Bible,” Pelosi said.
She doesn't appear to be at all aware of exactly how idiotic this statement really is.

If only there were some way of looking up words or phrases; some website, or perhaps a book. Maybe someone could put together a book that lists Biblical words in alphabetical order, along with chapter and verse references where they might be found. If only politicians had aids to help them with research. If only...
Still, it's good to see that mixing religion and politics is OK again. Until they decide it's not...

It's only okay if the Ds do it. It's definitely NOT okay if the Rs do it.

“Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made.
And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said ...”
Satan and his allies have always quoted or referenced scripture, subtly twisting the meaning, sowing doubt and confusion.
We know who is Nancy’s father by the fruit she bears and the company she keeps.

If Nancy can read, comprehending what she read seems to be a bit lacking. I wonder what sort of power she has over all the Democrats who voted for her to reassume being Speaker.
I'd like to make a prediction about SOTU speech tonight. I predict at some point the Democrats will stand up en masse and walk out.

I sincerely hope you're right.

I've managed to get ahold of the president's remarks for this year's SOTU.
"Madam Speaker, Mr. Vice President, Members of Congress, the First Lady of the United States, and my fellow Americans:
It is my distinct honor to be here with you tonight, so that we may address the many challenges and issues facing our nation, in addition to celebrating the many glowing achievements of my administration in the past year. There have been far, far too many to count.
While it's been the tradition for the president himself to deliver such remarks at this time of year, tonight I'll be breaking yet another of Washington's sacred norms. And so, Madam Speaker, with no further hoop-de-do and to-do, I hope you'll join me in welcoming the debate thug himself; the man who terrifies college students, professors, and administrators everywhere: the one, the only, BEN SHAPIRO, everybody!"
Should be an interesting night.

The dogma dog poo speaks loudly within her.

I have long suspected that some of that Botox leaked into her frontal lobes.
-
Trying to smooth her post politics transition. Turns out Joel Osteen is gonna have a terrible accident and a church will need a pastor.
-
I'll cut her some slack because she's Catholic.
I went to Catholic school, and I can't recall spending much time on bible study.

But she claims she reads the Bible regularly. Which makes it all the more amusing that she admits she can't find the quotation, yet she insists that it "must" be in there ... somewhere.

It's in there in much the same way as gay marriage, unrestricted abortion, free heath care, and so on and so on are in the Constitution

As I said, if only there were such things as search engines and scripture concordances.

Goll-eeeee.
What'll those kids think of next?

As I said, if only there were such things as search engines and scripture concordances.
I looked in the Bible. There is no search engine.

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the
Inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men
Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will
shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness
for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children
And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious
Anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers
And you will know
My name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee

That quote is like a Royale with cheese.

Here's a quote Pelosi should read:
Thou shalt not kill.

I was thinking more along the lines of Matthew 25:40:
And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
