Who thinks it is a good idea to go rafting with your pet pig? What kind of pig? Was the pig going to be a guest of honor at a future culinary event? Who goes rafting with a pig? Didn't he know pigs can swim just fine? (probably not). I know where this happened and I have a feeling either alcohol or drugs were most likely involved, probably both. ;)

^ Just the usual water sports craziness.

Clear Creek was running really high last week and was pretty much closed to just about everything except nuclear powered submarines.

Boulder Creek, which pours out of Boulder Canyon, has an "[inner] tube to work day" which was postponed.

Yes, that's a "thing":

I was amused by the prohibition against open-toed shoes.

Tubed some rapids in Colorado as a young teen. Lot of fun and ya have to watch for small but high-enough-to-kill-ya-on-the-rocks-below waterfalls!

There's also the "drowning-trapped-in-the-waterfall's-vortex" problem and the "dash-your-brains-out-on-the-underside-of-bridges" hazard.

I was just thinking the other day about how many of those "MEGAFAIL" and "FUNNIEST VIDEOS" clips involve bodies of water one way or t'other.
