Good God, it's an hour long? It's an interesting rifle with a lot of historic aspects to it but I don't think it's that interesting

Once you learn where the fluff is, you can cut one of their episodes down to about 30-40 minutes of pretty good stuff. I usually skip most of last half of the video, as it's primarily dedicated to the hosts opining about the handling characteristics and whether they'd take the gun into battle based on nothing more than a short range trip. The stuff in the front half is usually historical information with some pretty deep dives into primary sources and fairly detailed information on how the gun works, and that's usually worth watching.

I saw the two colons in the time stamp and figured I'd wait to read other comments. There was a pretty good article on their ammo and the rifle in the American Rifleman fairly recently.
Frankly, anything over about 15:00 I tend to avoid watching, and I usually skip any "drive-by-posts" without some indication of watsinem, although sometimes the information is in the link itself

Kids these days have such short attention spans.

Neat. Still have my Lebel, made in 1889.
