In the aftermath of the synagogue shooting last year Pittsburgh passed some sweeping new anti-gun measures.

Only problem is, Pennsylvania is a pre-emption state, and similar activities had been struck down by the courts in the past.

The city vows that it will appeal, but so did the other cities whose laws were struck down, and none of those appeals have been successful.
