We could do with a light-hearted action movie that doesn't take itself too seriously.

If only we could find a theater with seats 6 feet apart ... :police:

Hard to believe that was 1993.
So how will Hollywood try to ruin it with SJW nonsense? They have to include feminism and racism and sexism in their somewhere.

BIT Official Trailer (2020) Vampire Horror
This may not be so bad, but we will see.

But every theatre has seats that are six feet apart.
Nyuck-nyuck-nyuck.

One of the reasons I loved "True Lies" was that it didn't take itself too seriously. The other was Jamie Lee Curtis. Hubba-hubba-dubba-wubba.
Terry
Image credt in properties but it was probably stolen there anyhow.

Gross.

Are you basing that comment on how she looks now, or how she looked 26 years ago? ???

I'm basing it on what she's looked like for the past ten or fifteen years.

Hell, I don't think I have seen a picture of her that is that recent. I don't really care. Everyone gets old and doesn't look like they used to.

As I've pointed out more than once, I think. Unlike, apparently, most men, I don't get angry at aging actresses for getting old.
But Jamie Lee Curtis just happened to start looking a little butch, and it happened fairly early for her. I guess I've always found her off-putting, but I haven't seen much of her earlier work.
Her mother, on the other hand...

Not in my local theater. I went and measured. The closest they got to 6 feet was 5.5 feet and 6.5 feet. :P

Back to DMII. I hope it has Stallone and Bullock, and Wesley Snipes and Dennis Leary. And how can they fail to include a cameo from President Schwarzenegger?

That was a compulsive contrarian post, I guess?
Knock not that ye not be knocked. Mat 7:1; Luk 6:37

Hey man, at least give him points for saying that he'd do her mom.

More like a gut reaction.

I don't know about that, but she sure improved the two movies I saw her in. She just, ya know, needs to avoid staying by herself in isolated hotels. #psycho #touchofevil

OK, you're forgiven. Not like I haven't spoken from the gut, myself, but only once. Only once, I say.
Yeah, her mom. Reputedly the smallest waist in Hollywood, like the character in Gone With The Wind... "smallest waist in..." whatever area in which that took place.
Hubba hubba dubba wubba.
Single point in that book that really stands out for me was the concealed weapon bit. Yankee carpetbagger rides up to the house, enters, gets aggressive, Scarlett pulls a gun out from the folds of her skirt and blasts the man right in the face. She and her wimpy sister (Melanie?) bury him in the yard and clean the carpet.
Been many decades since I read that book, but that incident really stuck in my head and made me think, "even kittens carry concealed weapons."
