Losing my BIL to cancer and still fighting it myself I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
At this point it shows money does buy cures or her infusion is full of the blood of the sacrificed and water from the fountain of youth.

As to the OP, I repeat what i said in past threads. Regardless of political affiliation, at this point retire, ease your suffering, and have some comfort in your remaining years. Sit on the porch and watch the sun set, not in a chair in an artificially lit room. I would say the same for a conservative Justice under a Hillary administration.

I agree with you, but her comfort seems to be in destroying most of the American (United States) ideals I embrace.
At times, reports of her condition seem to be met with sly anticipatory grins which I hope are totally involuntary.

I'm betting that at this point, she's just waiting four months in hopes of Biden getting in. If Biden is in, she'll be out in early 2021. Otherwise I'll bet real money that she doesn't make it through another four years of Trump. She'll either see it's not worth her health, or else die in office.

Agreed. IF Trump gets reelected, and that's not looking as certain now as it was pre-coronavirus. My vote goes to dying in office. I don't think she'll ever retire under a President who is likely to appoint a conservative judge.

If she's really that politically minded she should retire in late Sep- early Oct. I can think of very little in the world more likely to get Dem voters out to pull the lever for the sexual predator than being slapped in the face with another Trump appointee. I suspect the Dems in the legislature could stonewall long enough to make it through Jan.

Molyneaux had a doctor on as guest last fall that went over RBG's cancers, their survivability, chance of recovery, and then those chances when it's multiple cancers at the same time. Was interesting, and If I can find the link I'll post it.
That being said this woman's odds of buying the winning Powerball ticket SEVERAL times are way higher than anyone elses.

I suppose she could just announce in that timeframe that she was looking at retiring to get the dem voters out, but then if Trump wins, decide to stay as long as she can.
