My LGS just sent out a notice that they have these in stock. Bad timing as I'm limbing trees and collecting brush piles that need burning just now. >:D

The igniter on my grill quit working so I "need" one of those.

That is one way to keep
rioters hornets at a distance.

I'm so tempted right now, you don't know. The LGS is selling them for $650, and I think I can make it a farm expense for taxes.

Can I get one of those in the 40 watt range?

Empty ABC fire extinguisher, 2/3 full of diesel(not gas) pressurize back through the nozzle with shop air and a rubber blow nozzle. Way cheaper, impressive. I suppose you could rig a stun gun igniter like this if you wanted.

If you stir some styrofoam up in the fuel it works even better....

Getting the styrofoam into an even suspension is the trick. You need some sort of emulsification agent to do that. Styrofoam + fuel = clumpy melted styrofoam.
I made a small batch as a kid in a pickle jar, and the styrene never dissolved or mixed with the gasoline, it just sat in a gooey paste at the bottom.
Additional benzene might help. I don't know. OTOH, gasoline probably/possibly has fractions in it that are benzene or close to it, so maybe it wouldn't.
The melted styrene burns like hades, and is incredibly difficult to extinguish, but it's too thick for a flamethrower as-is.

I used a $1 styrofoam ice chest + pump gas to make "napalm" as a kid. Add crumbled foam to gas, mix till proper viscosity achieved, "serve". Worked great for me.
