I only ask, because my wife is going as Dana Pumpkins at preschool tomorrow. She said a lot of her co-workers hadn't heard of it. Which is oddly appropriate.

That explains it. SNL. I've never liked that show. That sketch was just stupid, but it seems that stupid sells these days.

What Fly 320s said, never saw the sketch, so can't judge it, but agree with "stupid sells," viz. today's penchant for adopting stupid animal mascots.
Last mascot I thought was OK was Erin Esurance, and she got Rule 34ed.

Most students have heard if you don't know the answer you should always pick C on a multiple choice question. By the same token, if Detcord or Bacon are mentioned in any of the answers there you should pick that one.

Yeah, I've watched the latter sketch a number of times. I think it's pretty fascinating that SNL could come up with a sketch like that.
