1st Ever Open-Carry Disney Princess Music Video!!!! (Parody)
https://youtu.be/vRoy7r9fp2E
I thought this was pretty funny. A musical that gun guys can enjoy. =D
I am impressed she did training footage in a Princess dress. There has got to be a blooper reel.
-
Many Disney movies would be far shorter.
-
Surprised she could see the sights over that lip.

I dissolved into a jelly-like mass when she pulled the reload mag out of her décolletage, 2:20 ff.
I'm still laughing over that.
Well done !

"What's a 1911 and why does it . . . what's the word . . . suck?"
But what can one expect from a video with James Yeager in it?

So what word would you prefer then?
I'll be in the bunker

Missed that part. Still entertaining.

I have a couple 1911's I have never had an issue with.
IMO, the equivalent would be judging the "Glock" design by the reliability of all the Glock clones. If a cheap Glock clone is an unreliable mess, then all Glocks suck.
-
I was being sarcastic I was hoping the bunker part would convey that.
-
That was AWESOME!!!

"What's a 1911 and why is it . . . what's the word . . . so excellent?"
(okay, that's two words)

Never let a joke interrupt a good rant. =D
-
That was a real hoot.
-
That was a real hoot.
Two of 'em!
Not bad.
-
Honk ! Honk !
Gives new meaning to the term "Mag Pouch."

I can't believe those guys thought it would be a good idea to share some live-fire training time with someone constantly in danger of tripping on her skirt. Then again, with a girl like that, where do I sign up? :O
What's really weird is that she made a whole album of her attempts at vocalizing really badly-written songs. ugh

If you didn't even know what a 1911 was, you could be forgiven for believing the anti-1911 rants on YouTube. Just from looking at her, uh, face, I want to give her the benefit of the doubt. She's asking in character, as someone who has a lot of cool guns (including 1911s), but only knows about guns from watching videos.

I'm sure everything would be pointed in a safe direction.

Two words, actually: "Kick + ass"

It seems to me that her voice is just as good as a number of professional singers. Certainly decent considering she is not a professional singer and might do her own writing. =D
She is definitely a better shooter now than when she first started doing videos.

<ahem koff-koff>

Faint praise? =D
Not that with 50 years of gunshot noise behind me, I'm much of a judge, but she was not bad at all in this clip.

I don't know which was worse; the lyrics or the singing.

Some folks are trying to compare a gag YouTube clip to professionally rehearsed and directed numbers where slips and blunders are neither seen nor heard and end up
on the cutting room floor in the recycle bin folder.
I'm no recording engineer, but I'd be willing to make a rhetorical bet with a rhetorical $10 that what you hear professionally is usually spliced together cut and pasted from three different run-throughs. Nobodie's pirfect.
You know, there was a big flap when the public found out that so many performances by "pros" were actually lip-synced from their recordings.
Anyhow, it was fun and enjoyable (B+, as most youtubies go) and I'm going to let it go with that.
I'm still chuckling over that spare mag retrieval from the cleavage pouch.
Thanks, MechAg94 !

Huh? I hear people sing live every week in church that sound much better than that, and even the corny gospel doo-wop songs they're singing are much more well-written.
I get what she's trying to do, but it's just embarrassingly poorly executed.

I already graded it "B+" against the other Youtubes I've seen.
How would you grade it, A through F?
-------------------
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Academic_grading_in_the_United_States
Below is the grading system found to be most commonly used in United States public high schools, according to the 2009 High School Transcript Study.[1] This is the most used grading system, however, there are some schools that use an edited version of the college system.
Letter Grade
Percentage
Grade Point Average (GPA)
(out of 4.0)
A 90%–100%
4.0
B 80%–89%
3.0
C 70%–79%
2.0
D 60%–69%
1.0
F < 60%
0.0
That's from wiki and is sorta the way I look at letter grades versus numerical values.

Ben, it seems kind of nonsensical to go this deep in "grading" that video, but I liked it ("B+") and others seemed to have some kind of grudge about it and aren't looking at it for what it is.
As I often say when irreconcilable differences like this arise, "So be it and so long." I've got other gardens to tend to.

With the sound off, I give it an A-. With sound on, a C.

rofl
I guess the "-" on the sound off A is because you were worried about her tripping on her dress. And your A and C kind of averages out to my B anyway.
So be it and so long.

I *expletive deleted*ing hate that *wow such a strong word to use, check your anger at the door*.
I was one of the ones who verbally bitch slapped her when she first appeared on The Firing Line.
I think it was Yeager who adopted her and turned her into his own personal blond bimbo gun bunny.
She's the one who made that stupid bib.
-
I thought it was hilarious, and where can I find a pair of sparkly earmuffs?

Okay, I'm curious. What stupid bib?

A cleavage protection bib to allow women to wear low cut shirts while shooting.
Because, you know, showing up at the range in a low cut top is much more important for a woman than dressing appropriately and actually focusing on shooting.
You see, woman shooters need to be sexy and to be infantilized because FUNNY.

Yep, nothing like watching a woman do the hot casing down the cleavage dance. For some reason many are insulted by an offer to go after it. That's gratitude for you.

You know, BSL, it isn't good to hold in your feelings. You should learn to let it out. Really.
I thought at one point she did end up with brass going down the top. Not that I was looking down the top. I swear. =D
-
My wife has a barely noticeable, matching pair of scars from .22 LR brass from a Ruger MKII.
I warned her but she didn't listen.

Her Glock was throwing brass straight back at her. I'll bet money she's a limp wrist and gets jammed on the regular.
She's to stupid to get a different gun since she hangs out with the Glock 19 is all you need crowd.
-
Maybe they were fake. No worries.
-
I thought it was hilarious, and where can I find a pair of sparkly earmuffs?
Heh. I spotted a clerk in King Soopers with a sparkly face mask like that. She said they were selling them in the drug store section. I was going to get two of them for my two angel-ladies but couldn't find them.

I thought it was hilarious too but I guess some sourpusses only know how to find fault.

Two cases?
First high power match. It took only one .30 case out of the next guy's Garand to go down the back of my shooting jacket to learn why so many of the competitors were wearing wide-brimmed campaign hats and the like. I thought it was just a style statement.
I bet you didn't realize how most of the shooting positions open up your clothes by the back of your neck.

I got a hot casing behind my shooting glasses once. Burned my eyelid. I don't think it scarred, but I wouldn't care much. At indoor ranges, the casings bounce all over the place.
-
I never chalked her up as stupid so much as just "not my generation". Her manner of speaking does not fit me much, but if a different audience gets a little bit of shooting/gun rights information, so much the better. Takes all kinds. I give her some respect that she has gotten a good bit of training since starting her channel.
-
Two cases?
I'm guessing a single piece fell between her breasts leaving one scar on either side
-
^ I don't know. Good point, but "matching pair of scars" seems to imply two cases to me. Maybe not. No big deal one way or t'other.
And it gave me an excuse to recount my experience with .30-06 brass down my back. Also to point out that semiautos do not give the case a chance to give up some of its heat to the chamber, so it comes out hot.
-

Exactly right. The Mrs. is how they say "well endowed". One piece of brass right in the ole decolletage.
