Title: Gitmo is still an albatross around the nation's neck

Holy moly, I had forgotten about the costs of Gitmo. If Congress continues to refuse to allow the transfer of the prisoners to the mainland, then consolidate everyone at a central prison and upgrade it as needed.

They can be housed for free in Seattle and/or Portland. Bet they would be even be running the place within a week. Could be actually an improvement.

Ship the prisoners halfway back across the Atlantic.
