By using decades of satellite imagery to look at environmental changes over time. What a great 'bang for the buck' idea, since we already have the imagery.

Deep state traitors. Worried more about cronies in the Mil/Ind. complex. 2020 has shown us who is who, and we won't forget.

And once again people think a minuscule blip in time is significant for climate changes. I would be more impressed if they 1000 years of imagery, or even just back to the 1400s. Is climate changing? Of course it is, it always has, always will. But now they will want to use 60 years of images to make policy and changes. I don't think they will be good changes for the most part.

Agreed.
My benchmark is Greenland, and even that is only recent history. The Vikings settled on Greenland (and named it "Greenland" because it was, like, green) and had an agrarian society there for about 500 years (roughly 900 AD to 1400 AD). The global cooling moved in and curtailed their trade and travel back and forth with Iceland, as well as making Greenland incapable of sustaining their society and economy, and they abandoned their settlements there.
So, when people yap at me about global warming, I just tell them to call back when it gets too hot to farm on Greenland.

It seems to me that all we really know for certain is the climate changes.

It seems to me that all we really know for certain is governments do everything they can to curtail freedom.

That's a bingo.

Without climate change none of us would be here.

That just might be one of your best trolls of the forum yet

^^^Uh, Ok. I found it interesting that intelligence imagery is being repurposed for environmental research. Perhaps that doesn't fit in with your worldview of #HeritageAmerica.

I found it mildly interesting that they would allow that, but the Save The Earth tone of the article triggered my sarcasm bone.
