In my case I do log off... so the four days it says I've been online roughly corresponds with four days of staring at APS. Sad, isn't it? I wonder what I could have accomplished with those four days? Nah, nevermind, it's likely to be too depressing thinking about it.

I'm pretty sure I got it. I was sitting with the stats page open, clicking refresh every two seconds, with another tab open with my response to this thread all typed out. When the counter on the stats page hit 99,999, it took all of three seconds to click on the tab with my response and click "post."
