Title: New Truck
Post by: Jamisjockey on March 23, 2007, 02:44:49 AM

I misplaced my camera, so I wasn't able to take a picture until a few days ago.
2007 F150 XLT crew cab 4x4 5.4L
I actually got it about 2 weeks ago.  Drove it into WV to go fishing the day after I bought it.  So far I'm very happy with it.

Just wait until he checks under the driver's seat...

Congratulations on the new ride.  If I were to buy a new (to me) pickup, it would be a 4-door.

Tires look a little under inflated and also worn.  Bet he stole the truck.  How else does an unemployed bum afford a truck like this.

If I was at all talented with photoshop I'd change the plates to read "liberal" just to see who'd get all bent out of shape....

One of my neighbors has one, in a community of townhomes. They can't ##%! PARK the thing, so always end up with about three feet of it sticking out beyond the space, blocking access to the garages on the other side. I kept hoping a plow would run into it this winter.

Trucks are fine if the driver can handle them. Unfortunately, there's a lot of people who can't.

Nice looking ride you got there.

Don't know what your plans for it are, but a Superchips engine programer will unleash the inner beast in that 5.4 (along with cold air intake and good exhaust to let her breath, but I digress).  The 5.4 comes soo gutless outa the box(relativley speaking),  a programer would increase yer' horse and gas milage.

best part about it, Is that the programer itself stores your stock configuration when you use it,  So if ya need service, just plug it into the OBD port under the dash and return it to stock configuration. takes all of 2 mins....

best 330 bucks you can spend on a new motor.  You'll be into it for just under a grand is ya go the intake/exhaust route.

How many carbon credits did you buy to offset that thing?   grin

That's exactly what I am renting right now. Same truck. I am head over heels in love with it!

I COULD buy one, and make the payments, but I can't "afford" it, if that makes any sense. Still scraping up for a down payment on a house.

Good score! I am so impressed with the one I am driving right now I am telling everyone.

I hope they've improved the crash safety for the F-150 since this video, here:
