Glad the couple won't be charged, but man - terrible situational awareness, especially with a kid in the car.

The Seattle Police will not recover stolen property nor assist you if you go to recover it.  I have known people who have recovered stolen bicycles or motorcycles, and the key seems to be bringing a group of your friends that are visibly armed.

I guess it is also too much trouble to keep an eye on those people when they wander off into nearby neighborhoods.

I would say par for a liberal city but the police don’t do jack *expletive deleted*it here either other than take a report. But you shoot one thief…

Again, the fact that we haven't seen more people taking matters into their own hands when they are denied justice by the system shows that we Americans are a very civilized people.
Not always a good thing.
I would not be surprised to a steady increase in vigilante justice in the coming months.

As for caliber for miscreants, 12 gauge buckshot will do.
