My bladder scope session found no tumors for once! We will see in 3 months and I will get bladder chemo once a month, BCG (https://www.mskcc.org/cancer-care/types/bladder/treatment/bacillus-calmette-guerin-therapy), until then. Wish me luck! :old:

I had to look up "BCG" at the Sloan-Kettering site, so here it is, for any other folks:
"...we may recommend that you receive a type of immunotherapy called bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG) therapy. It is given once a week for six weeks. This therapy is designed to trigger an inflammatory response in the bladder. The reaction prevents the cancer from returning.
"To give BCG therapy, our doctors deliver inactivated tuberculosis bacteria directly into the bladder through a catheter (a small tube) placed in the urethra (the duct through which urine is transported out of the body)."

Why did you look it up? He linked directly to it in his post.

Ya gotta hold it in there for 2 hours. It's rough on many folks and you, well I, am WIPED for a few days after getting it done. Sleep city for a few days.

Huh. I didn't notice the faint underlining on my screen. It was a blue-ish line on a blue-ish ground on that post (see attached). The ground alternates between white and blue-ish with each post with the "skin" I am using. I guess it's the default skin.
Doing the attachment below, I notice the font color change to blue as well, which I didn't see on first reading.
=D Nothing like blue information on a blue background to enhance readability, eh? =D No reflection on you, Speedy. I don't think it rises to the level of a design defect.
So, anyhow, my bad, I guess. (I'm not a fan of embedded links like that; I prefer to just post the URL "in the clear." I know how to do it, it's just not my favored style. For one thing, the hidden (embedded) URLS are useless in printouts of the text.)
So, sorry everyone. =(

And now we have the blues...

To be fair, I have posted it "in the clear" SEVERAL times in other threads so if you cared about me, you would know! ;)

New bladder scan today. 4+ tumors, surgery scheduled for the 18th. Terri is recovering from having her ankle replaced Friday. We bury her cousin tomorrow. We were close...
-
Sorry for your difficult times, HH. Hope the surgery goes well for you.
-
Hang in there, Hero Hog. You've got a lot of people rooting for you.
-
Damn, Hog. Just damn.
-
Keep hanging in there, HH.
-
Wishing you the best - hang in there, HH.
-
Good luck on the surgery, Speedy !

Thanks guys. Been busy as hell and don't get on as much as usual. Wife's doing well and we started tapering off the drugs today.
-
... we started tapering off the drugs today.
"WE started tapering off the drugs"?
Does that mean you've been helping her use them up? (https://forum.m1911.org/images/smilies/bolt.gif)

Good to hear.
